- Usually the reason people can't get internet access is because of DNS settings, the checklist will help you check these
- Another reason is proxy/dial-up settings in Internet Explorer, again refer to our checklist.

Have you agreed to the Terms of Use?
- Make sure you open a web browser (eg Internet Explorer or Firefox) and agree to the APNK Terms of Use first before continuing to a website you want to view.
Are you at Hamilton City, Nelson or Puke Ariki New Plymouth Libraries?
- These libraries have two Wireless Access Points (WAPs). Your laptop will not automatically connect to the WAP with the best signal. You may need to refresh your Wireless Connections window and connect to the one with the better signal strength.
