Website virus alerts (like the screenshots below) are often hoaxes and may try to get you to install malicous software. Don't accept any invitations to install "anti-virus" software (no matter how much it might claim to be helpful). Instead -
- Try closing your browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox)
- If you keep getting alerts or the window won't close, restart the computer
