Screen Clean | How to clean the screen?

The APNK Computers have flat screen monitors and over time little grubby fingers can make the screen quite dirty.

Instructions FOR STAFF on cleaning the screen

Notes

• Do NOT use any cleaning products on the screen
• Do NOT use glass cleaner - the screen is not glass
• Do NOT use paper towels - you will scratch the surface
• DO use microfibre cloth (that's the type of cloth you use to clean reading glasses), or a very soft lint-free cloth.
• You will need two microfibre or soft cloths (one wet, one dry)

Instructions

1. Turn off the screen
2. Use cloth (as described in notes) to gently brush off any dirt and dust
3. Wipe the screen to remove marks using a WATER ONLY damp cloth (cloth as described in notes)
4. Gently wipe your screen in a consistent motion, such as counter clockwise, rather than haphazard motions
5. Use the dry cloth to remove any liquid on the screen, as it this may damage it.
6. Make sure the screen is thoroughly dry before switching it back on.
