RSS | What's so good about RSS?

RSS or Real Simple Syndication is a quick and easy way to keep up to date with the websites you like to access. It's kind of an alert and a headline combined.

For example

• you can subscribe to your favourite news site, when a headline appears that you are interested in you can click on it to open the full story
• weather information for your region / town / city
• recent library purchases or additions to their catalogue
• a new blog posting
• a new lol cat
• twitter feeds
