APNK is piloting Office 2007 at some of its partner libraries.  This is a help page for those libraries.

Is there help for using Office 2007?

Yes.

Key changes ...

1.  The Office Button MS Office 2007 button has replaced the File Menu   

2.  The Ribbon has replaced the Menu Toolbar

  • Select the Menu tab to access an "Office 2003" look-a-like toolbar

  • For Help in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access or Publisher, either press F1 or click the Help icon Microsoft Office Help icon on the top menu

OpenOffice

You might prefer to use the free and open source "OpenOffice" programs rather than Office 2007.  OpenOffice menu's are very similar to Microsoft Office 2003. Look for the OpenOffice.org icon located on the desktop and start menu of the APNK public computers.  OpenOffice.org icon
