Yes. To use Māori macrons on the APNK computer ...
- hit the tilde ~ key once (and let go)
- tilde ~ is located to the left of the 1 key on the APNK keyboards (over by the letter Q !)
- now hit the vowel key eg a
- the output should have a dash above the character - like this ā
- to insert a macron over a capital E the key strokes are tilde, then, shift E = Ē
