Languages | Can I use Māori macrons?

Yes.  To use Māori macrons on the APNK computer ...

  • hit the tilde ~ key once (and let go)
  • tilde ~ is located to the left of the 1 key on the APNK keyboards (over by the letter Q !)
  • now hit the vowel key eg a
  • the output should have a dash above the character - like this ā
  • to insert a macron over a capital E the key strokes are tilde, then, shift E = Ē
