Languages | Can I type in Japanese?

Yes - there are many language keyboards installed on the APNK computers including Japanese, Chinese and Korean. 

How to change the keyboard language - example change to Japanese:

Open the program you wish to type in (eg Word or Internet Explorer)

  • Click in the place where you wish to type
  • Change the language by clicking on the EN symbol near the bottom right-hand corner of the screen
  • If you select Japanese - right-click the JP symbol - select adjust the language band position - then click on the A symbol to change the Input Mode to eg Hiragana
  • The keyboard will default back to English when the computer is restarted or when a different application is used.
