Images | How to reduce size without changing dimensions?

Sometimes you may want to reduce the size of an image file but keep the height and width dimensions the same. 

You can reduce the quality of the image to achieve this. 

For example open Paint.Net and then open the image

  • File
  • Save As
  • Give the image a new file name
  • You should now get the "Save Configuration" menu
  • For PNG file types you may wish to change to 24-bit or 8-bit
  • For JPG file types you have a Quality sliding scale option
