CD / DVD | Can I use VLC?

Yes - you can use VLC to watch movies on the APNK computers.

Close Windows Media Player first, if it has tried to play the DVD movie and failed.

 

Method 1/.

  • insert DVD
  • wait for auto-play to load DVD
  • when asked to select a program select VLC (the orange traffic cone)

Method 2/.

If the movie does not auto-play, try

  • opening My Computer
  • click on the Z:\drive
  • select the File menu and Play with VLC media player
