Christchurch-based company Snap provides the APNK our internet service and for the second year running have been acknowledged by the industry as the best ISP at this year's Tuanz (Telecommunications Users Association of New Zealand) Awards, held last night. The People's Network offers their congratulations to Snap on the excellent service they provide. For more read the NBR article.
APNK staff have now installed a PC control system called GO-GO (Get On - Get Off) at Dannevirke Library, Tararua District. This system allows each user session to be a discrete predefined period providing an equitable way of managing customer demand for the APNK service.

A third marae joined the Aotearoa People's Network Kaharoa today with a successful installation at Te Rewarewa Marae. Situated in North Rūātoki, Bay of Plenty, the marae now has three APNK PCs, a scanner, and wifi connectivity which will be used by the local community.
